EUROCRIM 2025 – The 25th Annual Conference of the ESC in Athens


From 3–6 September 2025, Our president Stephen Shute and our vice president , Rita Haverkamp took part in EUROCRIM 2025 – The 25th Annual Conference of the European Society of Criminology, held this year in Athens, Greece.


Marking its 25th edition, the EUROCRIM conference continues to be one of the most significant annual gatherings for criminologists, penal practitioners, policymakers, and academics from across Europe and beyond. This year’s event brought together a diverse international community to exchange research findings, reflect on current challenges, and explore innovative approaches within the field of criminology and criminal justice.
